DRYING

The clay block now has to be dried to remove the excess moisture which usually consists 20% of moisture content.

Depending on the climate condition, natural drying system is adopted for drying. The bricks are stacked one above the other carefully to allow sufficient airspace in-between.

In first phase, the bricks are dried naturally for 8 days where some percentage of moisture is evaporated. In second phase air circulating fans are turned on for next 12 days to bring down the moisture content of bricks to about 4-5%.
