Feeding

The first process involves feeding clay and sand to the box feeders. The box feeder regulates, proportionate and mixes the lean clay in its exact proportion as required for the manufacturing process.

Water is added to an extent of 10 % in this process. The quality of the brick will be improved if clay of different types is mixed.

Box feeder’s gives uniform output without causing any overloading or under loading to the succeeding machinery in the process.

Sand and clay from the respective box feeders are taken out and passed into the perforated Bottom pan mill. This machine is made of heavy-duty mild steel fabricated pan and heavy-duty cast iron rollers.
